Learn the best practice when adding a physical Part to Inventory by starting from the Parts Master. Creating a Part from Parts Master will help carry over and populate the appropriate fields and reduce errors in the Part information transfer.
Step One - Navigate to Parts Master
- Click App Launcher.
- Enter Parts Master in the Search bar.
Step Two - Select a Part
1. Select a Part you would like to add from the list.
- Click the Parts dropdown button
- Click New
Step Three - Add a Part
Most fields will auto-populate with information from the related Parts Master except Bin and Stocking Group. Enter the appropriate values and click Save.
