How to Add a Location

Goal

Add different locations to the system to distinguish activity, users, and inventory between multiple roof tops.

After completing this article you will be able to:

  • Navigate to the the location object
  •  Add new locations to your org

 

Attention Users,
Salesforce has two different desktop user interfaces: Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic. This article is designed for Lightning Experience

 

Step One: Navigate to Location

  1. Click the App Launcher icon.

  1. Enter Locations in the search bar.
  2. Click Locations.

Step Two: Add a New Location

  1. Click the New button.

  1. Fill in the * required information.
  2. Click Save.

  1. Location Name
  2. Company Number
  3. Street
  4. City
  5. State
  6. Postal Code
